Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known by his stage name Shatta Wale, has ordered all talk shows and discussion forums to stop any further attempts to discredit his upcoming “GOG” album.
The Dancehall musician, who plans to release other tracks from the album, has requested that these media outlets refrain from making any attempts to discuss it other than to promote it.
While stressing that this specific album isn’t intended for the music business, Shatta also made it clear that his major goal is to satiate the thirst of his fans who are waiting for the “masterpiece.”
“Get ready for some singles on the #GOGALBUM. Pls and pls and pls. I am not doing this album for the Ghana music industry. I am doing this as my job to fill the masses with peace and love. I don’t want any negative discussion of my album on any platform. It’s a warning,” he wrote on Facebook.
“I didn’t come here to join unions. I came with mine and that is SHATTA MOVEMENT,” Shatta added.
