The female orderly of former vice president and PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s wife, Titi, may face consequences for carrying her bag at an event, according to the Nigeria Police Force’s spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

On Wednesday, October 5, a Twitter user posted a picture of an orderly holding Mrs. Atiku’s bag during an event with the caption:

Why won’t the police forget their basic responsibility and only follow the lead of the elites when a private citizen may transform a member of our uniformed force into her maid?

Is this how it’s supposed to be, @BenHundeyin?

Responding, Adejobi wrote;

”This is not acceptable. We have commenced necessary action on this. We will fish her out and get across to the principal. The AIG Special Protection Unit has been contacted to assist us get the woman police. Gradually, we will sanitize the system.”
