A rat wandered into a cannabis storage area for an exhibit and got high there.
Femi Babafemi, NDLEA spokesperson, made this announcement on Monday after posting a video of a rat running about on his Twitter account.
He claimed that after wandering into the display room on Friday for a short while, the rat started acting strangely.
The rat, which Babafemi claimed was impaired by cannabis, is constantly seen whirling.
The spokesman continued by stating that the incident serves as a warning to Nigerians to abstain from using drugs that alter consciousness.
“Stray rat gets high on C/S: So this rat on Friday strayed into the exhibit room where cannabis was stored in one of @ndlea_nigeria commands and few minutes after, it began to misbehave,” Babafemi wrote.
“Need I say more? The message is clear. #SayNoToMindAlteringSubstances#”
