Nigeria will host the world premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the newest film from Marvel Studios. The premiere will take place in Lagos, according to the movie distribution company FilmOne Entertainment, before the movie’s eagerly awaited global theater release on November 11, 2022.
The official African premiere of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will take place in Nigeria, The Walt Disney Company has announced today in collaboration with the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) and FilmOne Entertainment.
Following Chadwick Boseman’s death, Shuri (Letitia Wright) is rumored to put on the Black Panther costume, putting Wakanda in danger from new foes in the highly anticipated sequel, which might break box office records.
Letitia Wright will don the superhero shoes, according to the latest video from Marvel for the sequel, even though the new Black Panther hasn’t been formally introduced yet.
The sequel’s filming, which required more than a year of production, encountered many difficulties due to minor set injuries and health issues with Covid-19. Following months of rumors about who would take replacing Chadwick Boseman’s role as King T’Challa, who had passed away from cancer the year before, production finally began in August 2020.
Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage as Tems, performed a cover of Bob Marley’s No, Woman, No Cry with a sample from Kendrick Lamar’s Alright for the soundtrack of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
