Prior to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the Gulf region, Qatar, the Ghana Football Association has declared that there would be a National Day of Prayer and Fasting for the Black Stars.

The Ghana Football Association has designated October 21 and October 23, 2022, as National Days of Prayer and Fasting as part of the Pre-World Cup events spotted by GhanaWeb.

Muslims will fast and pray for the Black Stars on Friday, October 21, while Christians will participate on Sunday, October 23.

The World Cup in Qatar begins before other events like Rep Your Jersey, Walk With Legends, and Dinner with Legends.

In Group H of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Black Stars will compete against Uruguay, South Korea, and Portugal.

On November 24, Ghana will face Portugal to open its campaign in Qatar, followed by matches against South Korea and Uruguay.
