Actor Alex Ekubo has urged for the renaming of the Lekki Tollgate in honor of the lives lost on that day and that it should also be toll-free as Nigerians remember the second anniversary of the ENDSARS lekki tollgate massacre that happened on the October 20, 2020.
This morning, the actor posted this appeal to his Instagram account. He posted a picture of the anti-police brutality demonstration and wrote:
“Dear Nigerian Government, we will NEVER forget this day. 20 – 10 – 20. We will return the favour. The Labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain.
“I still maintain, Lekki Toll plaza should be renamed Lekki Memorial Way and remain toll free forever. We Paid With Our Blood”

The 29-year-old who announced it on Twitter on Wednesday stated that the peaceful march would honor those who lost their lives during the protest on October 20 at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos.
He wrote: “Peaceful Walk tomorrow in honor of all #EndSars and Police Brutality Victims!!! We no go fit ever forget!”
