According to a reliable source, Nigerian artist Davido responded to the heartbreaking news of his son’s passing.
The untimely demise took place on Monday, October 31. Ifeanyi drowned to death at his father’s house on Banana Island. He was taken by ambulance to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where doctors immediately declared him dead.
In order to attend a family reunion in Ibadan yesterday, Davido and Chioma left Ifeanyi with his caregivers, who are baffled as to how he managed to slip into the pool and drown.
“Davido ran mad. He literally removed his clothes and wanted to run into the streets. He was held back. He and Chioma are inconsolable.” the source said.
There are indications that an autopsy will be performed to ascertain the cause of death after the boy’s body was sent to the mortuary.
All friends, coworkers, and employees are not permitted to go to Davido’s father’s house, where he and Chioma are hiding out.
The Chef joined the Nanny and Ifeanyi, according to a person familiar with the tragic incident. According to reports, the Nanny stepped a little bit away to take a call. Ifeanyi wasn’t there when she got back, so she believed he was with the Chef. However, the Chef claimed that he had left Ifeanyi with her. For about 20 minutes, they searched desperately throughout the house for Ifeanyi before a security guard finally found him.

Davido was taken from Evercare Hospital in a disturbed and unconsolable state, and was then brought to his father’s home, where he is still at this writing.
Meanwhile Eight members of artist Davido’s domestic staff have been questioned after his son Ifeanyi drowned, according to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesperson for the Lagos State Police command.
