According to the Federal Government, railway service between Abuja and Kaduna will resume this month, in November.

The Transportation Minister, Mu’azu Sambo, revealed this today, November 7, when delivering his ministry’s scorecard in Abuja.

He claimed that sufficient security had been put in place to guarantee the wellbeing of the passengers.

However, the Minister did not provide a precise start date.

According to Sambo, the ministry has learned enough lessons from the March attack that resulted in the suspension of train operations on the Abuja-Kaduna route and claimed the lives of numerous passengers.
