Dino Melaye, a politician and spokesperson for the PDP’s presidential campaign council, chastised Peter Obi for insulting him at last night’s presidential town hall meeting.
After a participant raised his hand to ask a question of the presidential contenders, Obi tackled Dino after someone who he assumed to be Dino Melaye remarked, “Na wa o, Obi people.”
Peter Obi yelled at Dino after hearing the words, saying;
“Stop that Dino. Why are you always calling me? I won’t take that. This man is from ANPP. Why are you calling him Obi people?” a visibly angry Peter Obi said.
Dino responded to the incident in a video he posted this morning, saying there was no justification for Obi to act out against him in that way.
Obi’s personality, in his opinion, is not presidential.
He further said that if Obi becomes president, he will slap his Aide-de-Camp (ADC) for his reaction.
He requested an apology from the former governor of Anambra state.
