An altercation between a passenger and a fellow Trotro passenger about a ticket increase change of 70pesewas was caught on camera.
It is clear from social media discourse that the incident took place at Lapaz in Greater Accra.
It’s just awful to see a man struggle with a woman so fiercely that he ends up destroying her pricey wig over a dispute involving only 70 pesewas, or less than 1ghc.
Remember that someone passed away just last week as a result of the effects of 2ghc after engaging in a violent struggle with a “trotro mate.”
This is due to a minority of the trotro mate using the current economic crisis to pressure clients into paying exorbitant prices.
