Later, as a result of their aggressive approach opening up the game and numerous defensive errors, Portugal scored twice in a matter of seconds. 3- After the goals at 78 and 80 minutes, the game changed.
After the collapse, it appeared to be over for Ghana, but a determined effort resulted in an unexpected goal, reviving their hopes for an equaliser. The Portuguese goaltender nearly gave the ball away in the last seconds of extra time, which could have been costly for the black stars. However, Inaki Williams stumbles just when it counts.
After the suspenseful episode, the Portuguese were defeated 3-2. In their upcoming group H games, the black stars will need to take some important points away from South Korea.
