According to South Florida radio station WZPP, Joseph, the grandson of reggae musician Bob Marley, had asthma his entire life and passed away following an asthma attack.
Reggae musician Joseph, a Jamaican-American, made his debut in 2014 by releasing an EP titled “Comfortable” via iTunes and Spotify.
Additionally, he appeared on Morgan Heritage’s Grammy-winning album Strictly Roots.
Recently, Tidal published a tribute to the late musician on Twitter.
The post read: “Forever in our hearts. RIP Jo Mersa Marley.”
Joseph’s formal autopsy findings have not yet been made public.
