US rapper Meek Mill has verified that, in fact, he recorded a video at the Jubilee House, which serves as the seat of government.

While recently visiting Ghana, US rapper Meek Mill not only had access to the President for a one-on-one meeting, but he also received permission to use the interior and exterior of the Jubilee House for his rap video.

He provided the following confirmation on social media:

“NOT INDUSTRY POWERED” we make the narrative… GHANAAAAA…I felt like a king!!! “All real footage” “power rap”…at the presidential villa”.

He then indicated that the video will be available on all streaming platforms on Twitter:

Since then, the video has stirred up debate on social media, with many criticising the Presidency for allowing it to be shot there.
