Shatta Wale, a dancehall musician, poked fun at Ghanaians who vented their anger at Meek Mill after learning about the music video shoot at the Jubilee home.
Shatta, who insisted he saw nothing wrong with Meek Mill’s behaviour, urged Ghanaians to direct their vigour in a different direction.
He claimed that it wasn’t wrong for Meek Mill, a fellow black guy whose visit to the nation helped the “Year of Return” campaign in some little way, to take a few shots in the country to flaunt.
As a result, he has referred to everyone who has condemned the American rapper as a villager.
“You wan go America go take pictures for White House. You say “year of return “and your own black brother come shoot video as he return home you bore ..You are a villager trust me !!!” he wrote on Twitter.
Ghanaian Dance hall king Shatta wale has called Ghanaian’s “villagers” in reaction to Meek mill’s controversial music shoot at the Ghana Jubilee House. The question is why did Shatta wale not shoot his “On God” music video at the White House? 🤔

Shatta criticised detractors for opposing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in a series of internet posts where he was seen poking fun of the situation.
According to him, Meek Mill’s behavior at the Jubilee House shouldn’t be attributed to the president.
“You won’t solve your problem. You want to fight with president. see mumu …Jon. There’s a better beef coming up. Forget president beef and let’s wait for the great beef …You can’t show Nana anything. so shut up,” he added.
After Meek Mill’s music video from the Jubilee mansion went viral, there have been significant eruptions on social media.
In the aforementioned video, the American rapper was seen rapping at various Jubilee House locations, including the façade, the main hallways, the main conference hall, a spot behind the presidential platform, and afterwards in a sitting area.
Some people who were horrified by the development have referred to it as a full defilement of the presidency seat.
