fertility clinic following numerous requests for sperm and egg donations, Medifem Multispecialty Hospital & Fertility Center has stopped a significant number of volunteer donors.
Following a documentary that aired on TV3 over the weekend, these volunteer donors contacted the Center.
“We have currently reached our threshold for voluntary sperm and egg donations,” the Centre stated in a public announcement on Monday, January 16 after a barrage of calls.
Following one donor’s assertion that he received GH2,500 per week in exchange for his services, many people freely offered to donate their seed. Read here
However, according to Medifem Multispecialty Hospital & Fertility Centre, there is now no necessity.
“We will inform the public when the need arises,” it said.
