The National Cathedral’s secretary of the Board of Trustees, Rev. Kusi Boateng, told his audience that he will survive the accusations without incident.

On Sunday, January 22, 2023, while addressing his followers and being recorded by GhanaWeb, the prophet begged them to refrain from engaging in online back-and-forth in an effort to protect him.

“You are excited when you see your father up there – always happy, Papa is up there, Papa is up there. But when you are up there and you are fighting up there and some of you are crying.

“How can I go up without fighting the demons in the air? And so, stop all these fights and all these arguments. The question is that, is your father okay? I’m 100 per cent okay.

“The question is that, is your father happy? I’m super happy. The question is that, is your father going to go through this? I promise you that I will go through this honourably.

“So, every one of you should be relaxed, be happy, and don’t waste your time fighting on Facebook,” he said.

He continued by saying that members of his church should spend more time sharing the gospel and growing their church with others.

The congregation, which was standing, could be seen cheering the man of God as he spoke to them.

Background

Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, the secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral of Ghana, may have been improperly acting, according to the most recent corruption exposé on the National Cathedral by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the member of parliament for North Tongu.

The MP presented various accusations against Rev. Kusi Boateng, the National Cathedral of Ghana’s secretary to the board of trustees, on January 16, 2023.

Okudzeto Ablakwa claimed in a previous revelation concerning the National Cathedral that a whopping GH2.6 million was given to a business called JNS Talent Centre Limited.

Additional enquiries into the purported payment revealed Kwabena Adu Gyamfi to be a director of JNS Talent Centre.

After confirming the identities of two of the center’s three directors, Ablakwa continued his investigation to learn more about the third director, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.

His conclusions, which were supported by a number of legal documents, indicated that Kwabena Adu Gyamfi was the same as Reverend Kusi Boateng, who had reportedly been using the alias Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.
