The National Rental Assistance Scheme (NRAS) will be introduced on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at the Accra International Conference Centre in the Greater Accra Region by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The introduction of the programme fulfils a commitment made by the Akufo-Addo-led government in light of the challenges Ghanaians, particularly the young, encounter in finding suitable residential rental housing in urban areas.
The launch was announced in a statement dated January 26, 2023, by the Ministry of Works and Housing.
