Christian Atsu, a former member of the Black Stars and a Ghanaian international football player, reportedly got “stuck” in an earthquake in Turkey.
The former Premier League star is reportedly one of many victims in Turkey who are buried under debris as a result of a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake.
According to the report, search and rescue efforts are currently being made to locate Christian Atsu.
Atsu has formerly played for Newcastle and Chelsea.
He now competes with Hataysport of the Super Lig.
The player for Hatayspor and Taner Savut, the club director, were reportedly left under the wreckage following the earthquake in Turkey, according to a report by Turkish journalist Yaz Sabuncuolu that GhanaWeb Sports was able to see.
A search team has been sent out to look for the two people who are currently missing, the report said.
