New cabinet nominations have been made by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the president of Ghana.
Bryan Acheampong will now lead the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, while Kobina Tahiru Hammond has been named Minister of Trade and Industry.
Other appointments include Osei Bonsu Amoah as Minister of State for Local Government, Mohammed Amin Adam as Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance, and Stephen Asamoah Boateng as Minister of Chieftaincy.
The deputy minister of trade and industry will be Stephen Amoah, a member of parliament representing Nhyiaeso.
Following the recent resignations of Ebenezer Kojo Kum as Minister of Chieftaincy, Afriyie Owusu Akoto as Minister of Food and Agriculture, and Alan Kyerematen as Minister of Trade, the president has made these new appointments, which were made public by Speaker of the Parliament Alban Bagbin.
