The actress Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, a businessman, has reacted to her accusations that he is a neglectful father.
Tonto criticised Churchill in a post she published on her Instagram page this morning for uploading a photo of their son, King Andre, on his birthday, February 17, in an effort to appear as though he is trying to be involved in the boy’s life.
Olakunle wrote in his birthday message that he misses his son and hopes to see him soon. Social media users responded by pleading with Tonto to allow Churchill to see their son and expressing sympathy for Churchill in their comments.
Tonto said in a series of posts published this morning that Churchill has never made an attempt to see their son or help with his development, despite the fact that he uses social media to portray a different image.
She said that he was using their son to gain influence, and she regretted having chosen Churchill as a sperm donor. She then questioned why he didn’t upload a photo of his daughter from a previous relationship.
Churchill responded on his Instagram Stories, saying Tonto has restricted his contact with him and made things difficult despite his attempts to be involved in his son’s life.
He said Tonto went so far as to keep him from seeing their son at school despite the court giving him access to him and the child. Additionally, he asserted that Tonto promised to burn any gifts he sent their son and sent him footage of her doing so.
Olakunle further asserted that he gave Tonto a pre-paid card with an unlimited balance, but Tonto threw the card away. For their son, he claimed to have established a trust fund.
He pleaded with Tonto to stop attempting to discredit him and portraying him as a neglectful father.
He also denied being Yahoo Boy, the internet fraudster Tonto said he was, saying instead that he was a software engineer with other businesses that brought in income.
Churchill continued by saying that he had given Tonto her “best and only watch she had been using”—a rolex watch—seven years earlier. Moreover, he provided the invoices for the SUV he says he bought for Tonto just before their breakup.
Churchill said in his closing remarks that his marriage to Tonto, which lasted barely six months, was agony. If he was as horrible as she alleges, she should have moved on a long time ago.
