Fuse ODG, a Ghanaian music superstar, has taken issue with comedian Michael Blackson’s recent remark that there are only four Ghanaian music superstars, as opposed to six in Nigeria.

In a recent appearance on the popular American podcast “Drink Champions,” where he introduced his freshly signed artist, Michael Blackson said that Ghana, unlike Nigeria, does not have more than four (4) music superstars.
Michael Blackson named Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and Black Sheriff as the only four Ghanaian superstars.
In a tweet, the comedian, who just founded a school in his hometown of Ghana, identified Fuse ODG as one of the music talents he forgot to mention on the show.
He wrote;
“Can’t forget @FuseODG ????????”
Fuse ODG, on the other hand, was not pleased with his comment urging him to perform better.
Fuse ODG stated that Michael Blackson’s statements on the show were disappointing, especially since he (Fuse ODG) had introduced him to several Ghanaian artists.
He wrote;
“Mike…I don’t know how you go on @Drinkchamps and say there are only 4 artists in Ghana. Not cool bro. I’ve personally introduced u to a lot of GH artists in GH! smh. Stop embarrassing us on these platforms…you’re supposed to educate them.”
