Popular YouTube vlogger Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, commonly known as Wode Maya, has announced the restoration of his channel after claims surfaced that it had been completely destroyed by hackers.
Wode Maya has more than 1.2 million YouTube subscribers and is well known for using vlogging to promote the African continent.
The vlogger on the channel reportedly had his channel name changed and all of his videos erased.
But Wode Maya quickly declared, “We are Back!” on his Facebook page.
A brief check by GhanaWeb reveals that all of his earlier videos have been reinstated in the channel’s “videos” category.
The vlogger’s earlier videos have received all the previous views, despite the fact that the “Home” section is still empty.
Since then, a lot of people have responded to the post, expressing happiness at the development and praising Wode Maya’s work.
