Never question the statement that every rumour contains a small amount of truth.
It was announced two weeks ago that McBrown, who had hosted the programme for almost three years, had left UTV and been replaced, according to reports, by MzGee.
During McBrown’s prolonged disappearance from the screens, the rumours proliferated on social media even though they had been dismissed as just rumours. But it’s now clear that MzBrown won’t be taking over the hosting responsibilities again.
Empress McBrown has been the face of the station’s flagship entertainment programme, “United Showbiz,” since its launch in 2020, as faithful viewers of the programme will attest.
In advance of the weekend, posters featuring her were extensively shared on social media. Her face was featured in the show’s montage, and during the show, a huge screen in the background prominently flashed her picture.
On Saturday, March 11, 2023, it was noticed that a few minor details regarding the show appeared to have changed, namely with regard to the montage and interludes.

The show remained unchanged. She continued to appear on flyers alongside the other guest hosts. The montage on the show hasn’t changed since it first debuted.
The recent programme on Saturday, however, featured MzGee in place of McBrown, which would have been incredibly unusual if McBrown were to make a comeback.
