Rapper Edem from Ghana published another flyer that appears to declare he will run for government on the platform of the ruling National Patriotic Party (NPP).
Edem Goget’em, also known by his stage name Denning Edem Hotor, posted this new flyer on Twitter on March 22, 2023, early in the morning.
He published a flyer on Tuesday that appeared to announce his entry into politics as a candidate for the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
While he wears the same sparkling white long sleeve shirt, black pants, and dark sunglasses on both flyers, this new one depicts the rapper and businessman crossing arms as opposed to the first one, which showed him with his hands in his pockets.
He also provided links to his social media accounts.
Again, he added: “Major announcement tomorrow 4 PM” to the NDC flyer tweet.
He added the following description to the NPP flyer tweet: “4 PM: I take a stand.”
It is unknown if the multiple award-winning performer is actually entering politics or if he is just courting controversy to gain publicity for his brand or a new song.
