The top three Ghanaian musicians, according to renowned stand-up comedian Basketmouth.
On Monday, March 27, the award-winning comedian made an appearance on the 3FM Drive with Giovani Caleb and AJ Sarpong. A listener questioned him about his favorite Ghanaian musician.
“I like Kwabena Kwabena a lot, Sarkodie for sure and Samini. I love Black Sheriff too. In fact these new crop of artists are good”.
“I wish to have Black Sheriff on my new album but he was busy but I will try again,” he added.
“I am the one looking for something I will keep pushing until I get it. So if they don’t come true I understand cos sometimes we get busy and sometimes we get arrogant but I understand everyone will definitely come low or down after a while and then you will have my time. Everyone that I have chased sometimes it takes a year but I always get them”.
“I am trying to get Sarkodie on the album but I am close to getting him. I have been chasing him for 2yrs and I will get him.. he laughed and added I am very patient and I am a Virgo.”
The acclaimed actor and comedian is currently in Ghana in preparation for his comedy show, which will take place at the Accra International Conference Center on April 8, 2023.
