On Wednesday, the Naphuno Magistrate’s Court outside of Tzaneen in Limpopo is scheduled to resume hearing the case against contentious farm manager Mark Scott-Crossley.

The charges against Scott-Crossley include attempted murder and willful property destruction.

In Hoedspruit in 2016, he is accused of running over farmworker Silence Mabunda with his car. Additionally, he harmed his cellphone.

Since then, Scott-Crossley has pleaded not guilty to all of the accusations made against him. He is accused of trying to kill someone and doing malicious harm to property.

He also failed in his attempt to have his case removed from the record by a higher judge.

He helped throw field worker Nelson Chisale into a lion’s enclosure in Hoedspruit in 2005.
