Following a health issue, musician KiDi took a hiatus from social media for several months.
The musician expressed his gratitude for the love and support he received from his fans, family, and everyone else who reached out to him after he became unwell in a post on his social media accounts.
In a statement, KiDi said that everyone’s acts and concerns helped him get through the “difficult period” and he is grateful to everyone.
“A little under two months ago, I made the painful decision of cancelling my tour to take care of my health that included taking time off social media. In that time, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family, friends, fans and the brands I work with,” he noted.
The singer added “you all made me feel incredibly loved in this difficult period and I can’t appreciate you enough.”
A video of KiDi assuring his fans and followers that he is healthy was also uploaded.
This comes after the “Adiepena” singer cancelled his North American tour, which was scheduled to start in March 2023, in February.
About ten US cities, including Seattle, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, and Atlanta, were slated to be included on the artist’s tour. He was scheduled to perform in Toronto while in Canada.
KiDi explained to his followers the reason for the tour’s cancellation, saying that it was unavoidable owing to some health difficulties, though he did not go into further detail.
This raised questions about his health, and some people started spreading allegations that he was having a stroke as a result.

Entertainment Lynx Richie Mensah scoffed at the rumours, labelling them as clickbait.
On his return, KiDi again emphasised that the rumours were untrue and urged fans not to pay heed to them.
Meanwhile, he added that “I am glad to be back to doing what I love most, creating music and performing for you. Thanks for sticking it out with me. Love, KIDI.”
