Pastor Adeboye was made fun of by DJ Switch, a Nigerian activist and disc jockey, for saying that God will help President-elect Bola Tinubu fix Nigeria.
Bola Tinubu’s victory was discussed by Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), who asserted that God will aid the future president in reconstructing the country.
His Special Assistant, Pastor Dele Balogun, made this statement during the regular Thanksgiving service at the RCCG Headquarters in Ebute-Metta.
On her Twitter page, DJ Switch criticized Pastor Adeboye for his statement and added that although the APC subjected the public to ongoing repression and violence, Pastor Adeboye did not speak out against the party that his closest buddy led.
