The popular musician from Ghana, KiDi, has spoken out about the meaning behind his new song, “I Lied.”

According to a yet-to-be-released interview with Sika Osei on Lynx TV, the Touch It hitmaker, who temporarily left the music industry due to health reasons, never experienced a stroke, despite what have been reported on many occasions.

In a portion of the interview that Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com – was able to watch, KiDi called the reports the “craziest thing I’ve ever heard.”

“First of all, you can see me, I don’t have a stroke. It was one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard,” he said.

With the lyrics of his new track, he also allayed the concerns of those who thought he had liver disease.

“I want to state categorically, I don’t have a liver disease,” KiDi said.

Portions of the song read:

“If I show you my liver

You go take me to prayer

Don’t wait till I’m under

6 feet I’m gone…”

Prior to the release of his most recent track, KiDi declared his comeback to active music making weeks earlier.

He also made a surprise appearance at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards after the album was released, singing two songs, including Blessed and I Lied.
