Kwesi Arthur cut off his dread locs, and DJ Slim has suggested plausible why.

There are rumours that Nana Agradaa stopped Kwesi Arthur’s booming career after placing hands on his head, which is why the decision to chop off his locks was made, claims the well-known Disc Jockey cum radio host.

Earlier in April 2022, Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, also known as Agradaa, a former fetish priestess, met Kwesi Arthur and offered him special prayers.

Nana Agradaa asked Kwesi Arthur to send her a CD of his most recent album, “Son of Jacob,” with the assurance that she would promote the record, and she prayed against any attempt by the enemy to harm him.

“Send me your latest album. ‘Son of Jacob’ is gospel. Send it to me, I’ll hype it on my television station. I am very influential,” Nana Agradaa said.

But more than a year has passed and little is known about the “Grind Day” hitmaker.

Social media was flooded with rumours that he had split from his former record company, “Ground Up,” as well as reports that his album, “Son of Jacob,” did not receive enough attention.

These topics came up again during a debate on HitzFM, when Kumasi-based DJ Slim of AngelFM spoke candidly about claims that Agradaa had brought certain monsters into Kwesi Arthur’s life.

“People are saying that the moment Agradaa laid her hands on Kwesi Arthur’s hair, she put some demons in his hair and that is why his career came to a standstill. They said before Kwesi Arthur will blow again, he must cut his hair and he did. She left some of her demons, maybe two of them in his hair so they can keep him company for a while.”

Along with other label mates like Kofi Mole, Quamina MP, and many others, Kwesi Arthur cut ties with his record company. Since then, they have put out a few songs, including one they collaborated on.
