Bishop Abed Boakye Asiamah, also known as Ajagurajah, the head of the Universal Spiritual Outreach, has explained why President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo travels the nation on a specific chair.
Bishop Asiamah asserts that the president doesn’t move his chair around out of a sense of arrogance but rather for spiritual reasons.

“The Bible says if a woman is her menses and sits in a chair, if you also sit in that chair you’ll be defiled for seven days,” he said.

The president’s detractors claim that transporting the chair with Ghana’s Coats of Arms on its crest rail in his advance convoy is a waste of the nation’s resources.
Others claim it shows disdain for his guests when the president declines to sit in any of their chairs.
