Ikorodu Bois, a Nigerian content producer, has gained Netflix’s respect once more for their reimagining of the “Extraction 2” trailer.
After the remade trailer was released, Netflix sent the young boys some boxes of movie-inspired treats.
A video posted on Instagram showed school bags, sunglasses, jackets, throw cushions, and other items with Netflix labels inside the box of goodies.
A note addressed to the boys was included with the treats.
It read: “Dear Ikorodu Bois, we are absolutely blown away by your talent and creativity. Your recreation of the ‘Extraction 2’ trailer clip was simply mind-blowing and we couldn’t resist putting together these special gift boxes for you”.
Also, Extraction 2 star Chris Hemsworth hours after seeing the trailer praised the boys.
Taking to Twitter he wrote, “This is incredible. Looks like the @IkoroduB are trying to take our jobs from #Extraction2. Great work!!” the Australian actor wrote.
This is not the first time that Netflix has given Ikorodu Bois recognition for content repurposing.
After they released their version of the “Extraction” trailer in 2020, which the streaming service adored, they received some wonderful production gifts from Netflix.
