The Chief Executive Officer of Kantanka Automobile Limited, Kwadwo Safo Jnr, has come under fire from well-known social commentator Kevin Taylor for not taking part in the “Accra to London” road trip and failing to promote Kantanka vehicles while on the trip.

The purpose of the road trip was to advertise Ghana and its goods, thus online users questioned why Kantanka automobiles were not highlighted. Critics thought it may have been a fantastic chance to highlight locally made Ghanaian automobiles.
Kevin Taylor added his voice to the criticism by mocking Kwadwo Safo Jr.’s lack of seriousness and preference for throwing extravagant parties and parading his possessions. He described Safo as inviting bloggers to his home to show off his possessions, even going so far as to show them his bedroom and slippers.

Taylor continued by speculating that Kantanka cars might not adhere to international norms, which is why Safo decided not to join the road trip. He alleged that Kantanka cars do not meet international quality requirements since they incorporate parts from many other brands.
Kwadwo Safo Jnr responded to the criticism by clarifying that he was never approached about the road trip and lamented missing the chance to advertise Kantanka goods.
