The singer Portable’s offer to perform at the Nigerian Bar Association’s gala has drawn a range of responses. As part of the festivities for the association’s annual conference, which is now taking place in Abuja, Portable was invited to play at the conference party.
Portable sang his hit songs when he arrived at the party’s location shirtless. He became so enthused as he reeled off several tunes that he scaled a scaffolding within the conference venue.
While some attorneys praised the conference’s organizers for inviting him, others felt that he was unfit to perform as a guest singer there. They stated that since Falz is a lawyer, he would have been a better choice to be a guest performer.
