Nigerians ‘aggrieved’ over Ghana-South Africa visa waiver.

Nigerians have criticised their government on Twitter (now X) in response to a recent visa waiver agreement between Ghana and South Africa.

While publicly disseminating Ghana’s foreign ministry’s announcement of the agreement with South Africa, the “aggrieved” citizens questioned why their government hadn’t been able to achieve such agreements.

While some Nigerians mocked it online, others blamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s lack of seriousness for the situation.

According to others, Nigerians brought this upon themselves as a result of the crimes they were alleged to have committed, particularly in South Africa, the continent’s most industrialised country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, last week, announced a visa waiver for persons with ordinary passports in Ghana and South Africa. (Read Here)
