Following reports that he had recently joined the Illuminati, afrobeats artist Rema has finally spoken out.
In an Instagram story post, Rema addressed the mounting accusations and conspiracy theories around his alleged ties to the Illuminati.
He insisted that he had never had any connection to the secret group and that he had always been committed to his work.
Rema tasked his “Ravers,” or supporters, with educating others about his origins and lineage, stressing the importance of particular items in Benin and the primary colors of his culture.
Rema stated that his execution will change in step with his ongoing development as an artist. He affirmed his dedication to producing art that speaks to his audience and refutes the idea that any evil powers are to blame for his success.
Rema mentioned that he puts a lot of effort into creating high-quality music and anticipates his followers to do the same.
He said; “Day 1 Ravers, help educate the new Ravers that I’ve been on this bat shit for a long time. Y’all would have so much clarity if you easily Google where I’m from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening, etc.
“As I evolve, my execution will evolve unapologetically. Please know your artist. It’s why I do interviews. And that Illuminati talk is trash. I work too hard to create art for you guys to give the glory to some diabolical shit. Dead it now. Jesus is King.”
