A moral watchdog on X has criticized Herbert Wigwe’s eldest daughter for not standing to greet the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima.

The X user posted a picture of Tochi Wigwe seated while receiving a handshake from Shettima during an event organized to mourn the tragic deaths of Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe in a helicopter crash.

The user then contrasted this with photos of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote, both standing to shake hands with Shettima.

The critic expressed disapproval, stating, “Same Man, different regard. Whoever that girl is, she lacks proper home training. You don’t shake a person old enough to be your father while sitting down.” Some X users from the North also joined in berating the grieving daughter. However, there were numerous defenders who supported her actions.
