Aged 61, Amaechi Muonagor has passed away. The veteran Nollywood actor succumbed today, March 24, following a battle with kidney-related complications, diabetes, and stroke.
Muonagor experienced a stroke in 2023, resulting in partial paralysis of his left leg. He underwent weekly dialysis and physiotherapy to address the stroke-induced paralysis. Tragically, his demise occurred shortly after he appealed for financial aid on social media to fund a kidney transplant.
Muonagor was renowned for his appearances in numerous Nigerian films, notably gaining fame for his role as the father figure in “Aki and Paw Paw,” where he portrayed the guardian of two mischievous young boys.
He leaves behind his wife, Hope Chikodi Muonagor, and their children.
