In a recent video, prominent Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan accused Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci of deceiving people by collecting money for a cooking class that never materialized.

According to VeryDarkMan, the online cooking class was scheduled to commence on March 22nd, 2024. However, Hilda Baci failed to conduct any classes despite thousands of Nigerians registering and paying N35,000 each.

Hilda Baci apologized for the delay initially and promised to start the class four days later. Later, she announced that registration was closed on March 28th, 2024, indicating that classes would be postponed indefinitely.

VeryDarkMan criticized Hilda Baci for not addressing the issue publicly and ignoring complaints from participants who were not added to any Telegram or WhatsApp groups.

Several participants expressed their disappointment in the situation, as they had hoped to become cooking experts by now and start earning a living. They also mentioned that nobody from Hilda Baci’s team responded to their inquiries.

VeryDarkMan urged Hilda Baci not to tarnish her reputation and advised her to either start the online cooking course or refund the money to the participants. He warned that failure to take action would result in damage to her brand and reputation.
