Ghanaian actor LilWin was involved in a car accident at Amakom in Kumasi on Saturday, May 25.
Videos circulating online show his branded Benz with severe damage to the bonnet. In the footage, five men are seen carrying LilWin from the driver’s seat to another vehicle.
He was then taken to the hospital for treatment.
The accident news broke on social media on Saturday afternoon. The cause of the accident remains unclear as details are still emerging. The damage to the front of his vehicle suggests a possible collision with another car.
Despite the accident, LilWin is scheduled to premiere his movie “A Country Called Ghana” in Kumasi today, following a successful debut in Accra last weekend.
He had been actively promoting the film on a media tour since Monday until the unfortunate incident occurred.
The movie features prominent Nigerian actors like Ramsey Noah and Charles Awurun, along with other Ghanaian stars.
