Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has confirmed his upcoming wedding to Chioma Rowland Adeleke.
The couple is set to hold their traditional wedding in Lagos on June 25, 2024. Davido confirmed the news in a video that went viral on Tuesday, where he said, “Guys, you have to come to Nigeria on the 25th [of June] for my wedding.”
In a recent interview, Davido discussed his long-standing relationship with Chioma, revealing that he has known her since before his rise to fame. He expressed gratitude for meeting her during that period, noting that it would be difficult to form genuine relationships now due to his wealth and status.
Davido emphasized the importance of authenticity in his life, stating that success for him includes maintaining connections with those who supported him from the beginning.
The couple, who tragically lost their son Ifeanyi in 2022, welcomed twins in the United States in October 2023.
