The latest film by Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, titled “A Country Called Ghana,” has been nominated and will be screened at the 2024 Nollywood Film Festival in Germany.
Directed by Frank Fiifi Gharbin and executively produced by Lilwin, this Ghana-Nigeria collaboration features renowned actors such as Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu (also known as Awilo Sharp Sharp), Paa George, and Sweet Mimi.
The film seeks to entertain and educate audiences on the importance of preserving cultural heritage and aims for a spot on Netflix to gain global recognition.
The Nollywood Festival/NEGA Awards Germany is an annual event that showcases the best of Nollywood to German audiences, promoting international trade and exchange in the emerging market.
The 2024 festival will be held on August 3rd at GOETHE University’s Purple Cinema in Frankfurt AM Main, Germany.
Kwadwo Nkansah, known professionally as Lilwin, is a versatile Ghanaian entertainer renowned as an actor, comedian, and musician.
He is also the founder and director of Great Minds International School in Kumasi and the CEO of Weezy Empire in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
