Joseph Aloba, father of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, has made an appeal for any woman who may have had a child with his late son to come forward.
He stated his wish to verify if Mohbad had fathered any children during his lifetime.
In a viral video message, Joseph Aloba stated, “Any woman on earth that has a child for Mohbad should please come out now. It will be a great joy for me to finally know that my son Mohbad left a child behind and to see my grandchild. All we need to do is to conduct a DNA test.”
This appeal arises amid a controversy involving Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, whom Joseph Aloba has been urging to undergo a DNA test to confirm the paternity of her son, Liam, who is believed to be Mohbad’s child.
Wunmi’s refusal to consent to the DNA test has reportedly caused tension between the two families.
