In Ilorin, a group of market women have confronted one of their colleagues for selling her foodstuffs at lower prices.
The incident unfolded in the busy marketplace where tensions flared among the women over the pricing of garri, a popular cassava-based staple.
According to an eyewitness captured in a video, the vendor in question was selling her garri for N800, significantly cheaper than what others were charging.
This competitive pricing had attracted more customers to her stall, which evidently sparked resentment among her fellow market women. In response, they confronted and attacked her.
