The E Choke singer mentioned in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz that many people have had abortions yet openly ridicule others who are brave enough to share their experiences.

S3fa’s remarks follow Yvonne Nelson’s admission in her newly released biography “I am Not Yvonne Nelson” that she had an abortion 13 years earlier.

โ€œDo you know the number of people who have done abortions in Ghana? The people criticising Yvonne Nelson have probably done worse things than her but they are here saying all sorts of things about her as if they are innocent,โ€ she said.

When questioned about whether she would ever admit having an abortion given that it is taboo in this part of the world, the curvy singer claimed its no big deal for her.

โ€œIf I am to write my memoir today and there is a portion where I have to include an abortion or anything personal about my life, I will not hesitate to add that part of my life story. Unless, I decide not to write a book but if I do, I will go all out including an abortion if I did that,โ€ she said.

S3fa began her singing career in Accra by performing with live bands at bars, clubs, and parties. She got signed by Black Avenue Muzik in 2017 when D-Black, the record label’s CEO, contacted her on the social media site Instagram. The same year, she released her debut single, Marry me starring Jupiter.
