The Zambia president has embarked on a mission to boost his image by paying Facebook users to praise him on his Facebook page

The president is said to be jealous of Hakainde Hichilema’s Facebook page and comment and would like to become more popular than him in Social Media.

“This is ridiculous. He is behaving like that man from chawama. He always complain about Hichilema’s Facebook page and comments,” says one of Zambia’s citizens who wishes to remain anonymous.

It is not yet clear whether or not the president will indeed pay people Ksh 100 to post on his Facebook page. But if he does, then the people wants to know where the money will be come from.

Some are concerned that he may be planning to steal from the public coffers to bankroll his self-centred agenda that will not benefit the people.

Maybe the president did not mean what he said, and even if he did, everyone appears to be of the view that he should fund the strange mission straight from his own pocket.
