After Apostle Johnson Suleman served her with a cease and desist letter and threatened to sue her, Halima Abubakar replied.

In recent months, the Nollywood actress has become more vocal about her alleged liaison with the priest. She asserted that he caused her long-term illness and that he lied to her about his marital status when she had an affair with him.

She also asserted that Mr. Suleman had relationships with other actresses, and Shan George has come under fire for her denials of this.

She said on Instagram that the clergyman should be held accountable if anything were to happen to her and that her life was in danger.

Suleman has since sent the actress with a cease-and-desist letter through his legal counsel, Ephesus Lex Attorneys & Solicitors.

The preacher claimed that Halima Abubakar published harmful, defamatory, and humiliating things about him on multiple blogs in the notification signed by Mr. Rodney Adzuanaga.

The statement is false, untrue, malicious, defamatory, unjustified, and intended to reduce Apostle Suleman in the eyes of responsible and right-thinking members of society, according to the notification.

“We, therefore, demand that you cease from further publication of the said defamatory statements or any other statements and or publication intended to injure the reputation of our client,” it stated.

Additionally, the notification required Ms. Abubakar to recant her prior statements in five national publications three days after Thursday, September 29.

Additionally, it required her to send a letter to the Apostle pledging her whole confidence and commitment to refrain from releasing any further negative words about him.

She must also pay back all expenses he incurred to defend and uphold his reputation.

She will face a civil lawsuit if she doesn’t comply, it warned.

Despite the warning, Halima’s Instagram page still contains all of the accusations she made against Suleman.

Halima also took to her Instagram Story to tell Suleman that she will not comply and will rather meet him in court.

She wrote: “JS, sure, see you at the court.”
