Veteran actor Pete Edochie has acknowledged the death of his granddaughter for the first time.

On March 29, the little football champion passed tragically following a seizure he had while playing with his classmates.

According to reports, Kambilichukwu was transported by ambulance to the Lagos Mother and Child Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

Pete informed Vanguard that Yul had called him to inform him of the occurrence, confirming the tragic information.

Pee Edochie spoke highly of the deceased while describing his late grandson’s excellent qualities.

He asserts that his smart and unusually quiet grandson is a young man. He’s not someone you can count on, and he never loses his composure.

He asserted that the dead was a remarkable person who was very accomplished.

The distinguished performer acknowledged that he had constantly cautioned Yul that people like Kambili, who excelled in all she did, did not live long.

Pete claimed that his family and he started praying for the child as soon as Yul called them.
