Vin Diesel, the stage name of Mark Sinclair, admits that his current favourite song is “Calm Down” by Rema, a Nigerian Afrobeat musician.
In a recent interview, the Fast & Furious star claimed that his daughter, who is 8 years old, introduced him to the song since she sings the lyrics around the home.
“I have to say this, my daughter, Pauline, who is 8 years old, runs around the house going ‘Calm down, calm down, calm down!” Vin Diesel stated.
The Selena Gomez-featuring remix of “Calm Down” became the highest charting Nigerian single ever when it climbed at Number 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100 list. It also received Platinum status in the US.
Gistreel stated that Calm Down had approximately 300 million views as of December 2022.
After her song “Calm down” received 400 million views on YouTube in only a little over 10 months, Rema achieved another remarkable feat. “Calm Down” is a track from Rema’s first studio album, Rave and Rose, which was out earlier in 2022.
