Shortly after President Bola Tinubu declared that the fuel subsidy is no longer in effect in his inaugural speech yesterday, May 29, some Nigerians have resorted to social media to express their regret over having to purchase fuel for N600.
While some people criticized Nigerians for their behavior, others claimed the announcement came at the wrong moment because there was nothing in place to mitigate the effects of the subsidy elimination.
